Ron presented a practical view of Project
Management at Pfizer and in the pharmaceutical industry in general.
He covered how Pfizer uses standards, processes, templates, and tools to
manage the triple constraint in clinical trial projects. Several
case studies were used to demonstrate how Project Management is conducted
Ron is a Senior Manager in the Project
Management Operations group at Pfizer's NY City Headquarters. He
is responsible for defining Project Management within the Medical Business
Unit by providing the organization with Project Management standards and
processes, templates, tools, a data base, and reports, all of which support
Pfizer's clinical trials. Prior to Pfizer, Ron was a Project Manager
at several information technology organizations, including Ernst &
Young, UPS, and Government contractors.
