Abstract:
Lean and Agile quickly improve ROI and increase productivity.  Executed properly, Agile can transform the responsiveness, productivity, and quality of products and organizations.

Scrum is a highly effective project management framework.  We describe the mechanics, roles, interactions, and “rules of engagement” for all relevant types of stakeholders.

This one-day workshop will result in 8 Category 3 PDU’s from REP Rally Software.

This one-day workshop prepares attendees to work and succeed in cooperation with teams using Agile development practices.

The Introduction to Agile includes three parts, designed to help attendees understand how the organization is developing software and what value proposition it seeks to gain.

Part 1: Principles, Practices and Benchmarks of Lean and Agile
      Part 2: Scrum Overview
      Part 3: Rules of Engagement

This Introduction to Agile lays out the basics of Lean and Agile and the Scrum framework.  Stakeholders of development projects will gain a high-level understanding of Agile principles and mechanics that will improve their interactions with the Agile development teams.  Influencers to the success of development projects will also gain a high-level understanding of Agile principles and mechanics and thus improve their contributions to Agile development projects.

Rally consultants provide knowledge transfer that includes the guiding principles, process mechanics, and roles for Agile to work effectively.  Both technical and non-technical attendees will gain a better understanding of how Agile can make IT or Product Development more productive and predictable, and help make the entire organization more market-responsive.
