PMINJ recognized and celebrated the following outstanding accomplishments:
  • The 2016 Project of the Year Award winner, Port Authority of NY & NJ-Agency Operations Center
  • The 2016 Project Manager of the Year Award winner, Saibal Basuroy, of Hill International, Inc.

The  Port Authority of NY & NJ - Agency Operations Center (PA-AOC) presentation will be lead by Theodore Bobowsky and project team and will discuss a variety of elements of successfully integrating information from facilities that include America’s busiest aiport system, marine terminals and ports, the PATH rail system, six tunnels and bridges, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and the World Trade Center.

The PA-AOC project will serve an essential communications role by creating a single point of contact for the Port Authority and will enhance travellers’ safety and help reduce congestion by increasing the efficiency of operations and improve incidents response across the NY-NJ trans-Hudson transportation network.

The meeting will also recognize the Honorable Mention Awrards:
  • POY Honorable Mention:
    • No. 7 Subway Line Extension project, a two-track underground system that extends westerly and then southward from the current Times Square terminal.
    • IEEE Collabratec project, an integrated online platform where technology professionals  can network, collaborate and create in one central hub.
  • The PMOY Honorable Mention will be presented to Jennifer Scatcherd, Atlantic Health System.
