Mentor Program

Sample Mentor/Mentee pairs


This mentoring program is offered free to all PMINJ members. The Program links serious and accomplished Project Managers with those who would like a mentoring relationship so they can learn more.

Requirements for Mentees:
  • Must be a member in good standing of the New Jersey PMI Chapter.
  • Must want to learn more about Project Management
  • Must possess an interest in any part of the Project Manager process, with the exception of studying for the PMP exam.
  • For individuals who are interested in learning more about preparing for the PMP exam, we offer a cost-effective training program to acquire your PMP certification.
Requirements for Mentors:
  • A minimum five years of project management experience.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the PMI New Jersey Chapter.
  • Must be willing to share ideas, concepts, and knowledge approximately 2 to 46 hours each month.
Applications will be accepted and processed within 5 business days. The Mentoring Program Group reviews the application, and mentees are matched with a mentor. The course is designed to set expectations, and to provide the applicant with a contact person within the Mentoring group. The Mentoring Support team is available to assist during the engagement.
